Emma is trained on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) reporting frameworks. She previously worked for the National Alliance of Forest Owners (NAFO), a trade association committed to advancing the long-term economic, social and environmental benefits of privately owned forests. As NAFO’s Program Manager, she worked on projects across the organization, from communications and governance to data management and events. She started her career working on political campaigns in her home state of Illinois.
Emma studied political science at The College of Wooster and earned her master’s degree in Sustainability Management from American University’s Kogod School of Business. Outside work time, Emma spends her time cycling, playing word games and exploring Chicago.
