Prior to joining VOX, Emily interned with several sustainability and advocacy organizations. Her work ranged from political engagement on the Hill to event planning for a local environmental nonprofit.
Emily earned her B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Central Florida, with a minor in Political Science. While at UCF, she established and served as president of the campus’s Defend Our Future chapter, which focuses on political engagement and environmental advocacy efforts in the state.
Born and raised in Florida, Emily is currently based in Indianapolis, Indiana. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gaming, thrifting and eating delicious vegan food.
