Prior to joining VOX, Peter served as Senior Executive Director at the Organization for World Peace, a nonprofit advocating for peaceful resolutions to conflicts around the world. Peter led the News and Reporting Division and also wrote articles and op-eds on international affairs and U.S. policy.
Peter graduated Cum Laude from Bates College with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and History. At Bates, Peter interned for Jared Golden’s congressional campaign, supported a student-led voter registration group, and volunteered for local nonprofits.
Peter enjoys spending time outdoors with family in New England and the Pacific Northwest.
